Walk the Gorge of Vultures

We meet in Kissamos and provide transport to the start of this gorge, short drive from Kissamos.

The path through the gorge is accessible for most walkers. As we walk, we will explain a little of the history of the area, and point out some of the interesting features we can see. Aromatic herbs like thyme and sage grow all year round, filling the air with their scents.

Goats roam free in the gorge and if we are lucky you might catch sight of the majestic griffon vultures who live & nest in the high cliffs.

To pass through the whole gorge needs about 2.5 hours, and the same to return, but we can also do a shorter route, walking part of the way into the gorge and turning back.
