A guided walk into a secluded gorge.

Walk along the natural gorge valley, admiring the vertical cliffs dotted with caves and spot griffon vultures flying overhead. Mediterranean flora and fauna, in a spectacular setting.

We meet in Kissamos and provide transport to the start point of a nearby gorge.

The path through the gorge is accessible for most walkers. As we walk we’ll explain a little about the history of the area and point out interesting things in the gorge & surrounding area. Aromatic herbs like thyme and sage grow all year round, filling the air with their scents.

Goats roam free in the gorge and if we are lucky we might catch sight of the majestic griffon vultures who live & nest in the high cliffs.

To pass through the whole gorge needs about 2.5 hours, and the same to return, but we can also do a shorter route, walking part of the way into the gorge and turning back.

When we have finished walking, we’ll return to Kissamos by car.
