Discover Balos beach in West Crete and its turquoise lagoon with the ease of an Electric bike
We will ride e-bikes on the spectacular road to Balos beach, taking in the views from the peninsula over Kissamos bay.
We will stop at the natural spring on the way for some mountain water. When we get to the end of the road, we will park our bikes and walk down the path to the beach. We will spend about one hour on the beach, before making our way back up the path and back on the track to Kissamos.
Friday 18th June, 9am. Meet in Kissamos at Fit in Crete office. You can take the bus from Chania, we are a 5 minute walk from the bus stop on the main square.
The ride is about 30Km, or about 2-3 hours on the e-bike, plus about one hour walk on the path and breaks. 55€/person, including e-bike, helmet and guide.
Note that the last 8Km of the road to Balos is a wide but very stony track. It is not a difficult road, but a little experience of cycling off-road is highly recommended.
