Join us for a walk through the remote Kampos Gorge, with a break on the secluded beach at the gorge exit.
This is a long walk, about 4-5 hours in total. The terrain is not hard. We walk on small paths and on wide tracks. The path crosses the gorge bed a couple of times. It is partly in the shade of big plane trees. We descend to Platanakia beach, with spectacular blue waters. We have a break with a snack and we walk back up the hill, to finish where we started in the village of Kampos, where we can stop for a drink and some food at the local taverna. The landscape is spectacular and varied all the way through, sheer cliffs, river woods and stunning beach.
Bring a swimsuit!
