Kayak Kedrodassos: Exotic Shores

Transportation
We set off from Kissamos and drive on scenic coastal roads for approximately an hour. We get to the famous beach of Elafonissi where we leave land and launch for our adventure.

The Kayak
We paddle across the bay with turquoise waters facing Africa. We round a rocky outcrop and navigate along the coast until we find a hidden bay. We enter the bay to find a little tranquil paradise with a sandy shore, still water, the ruins of an ancient sanctuary on the water’s edge. We come back towards Elafonissi, navigate through some shallow rocks. Then we go along the coast admiring the juniper trees in the sand dunes along the coastline.

The sea
We take advantage of the sit-on-tops and jump in the blue element. We don our masks and snorkels and we go in the hidden bay, by the shallow rocks or by the sandy shores of Kedrodassos.

The landing
We land in Elafonissi, walk on the pink-sand shores and snack in the shade of the juniper trees among the sand dunes before driving back home.
