Elafonissi Wild Swim

The wild swim in Elafonissi will take you to a marvellous lagoon with turquoise water on the South-West tip of Crete.

Transportation
We can pick you up from Kissamos or Kolymbari, or we can meet in Elafonissi if you have your own transport and you want to hang out on the beach after the swim.
We drive for approximately one hour crossing the island from North to South along scenic routes. We can take a different route on the way back.

The Swim
We walk in the sand dunes and admire the pink sand by the shore. After passing many little coves, close to the tip of the peninsula we get in the water.
We swim with a guide in the shallow waters among the natural rocks dotting the bay.
Once we get to shore, we enjoy a snack by the shore in the shade of the juniper trees.

The Long Swim
With strong swimmers we can circumnavigate the whole peninsula, starting from one side and ending up on the other. The middle section is a spectacular passage through off-shore shallow rocks.
